Navigating the Menus

Push Buttons and Button Labels

The Black Widow provides for game and option selection through the use of

Push Buttons and their associated Button Labels.

Button Labels are located on the screen and are associated with individual

push buttons mounted on the cabinet door to the right and left of the screen.

There are six push buttons on either side of the screen. Pressing the button

to the immediate right or left of a Button Label will activate that menu option.

Button Labels will change to show available options based on which screen

is being displayed.

Attract Mode

When the machine is first turned on, or when it has been idle for a time, it

will go into the Attract Mode. During the attract mode, the menu system will

be replaced with advertising screens, custom operator screens, or other dis-

plays. To exit the attract mode and display the menu system, press one of

the bottom “Start” buttons on either side of the screen.

Figure 3.1 shows the main menu. From this menu you can go to the head-

to-head (left side vs. right side) menu; go to the right side or left side menus;

browse the available ad screens; or go to the Matchmaker Tournament

setup screen.
